Actual results after 14 days:

  • Anyword ad: 3.8% CTR, $0.42 CPC
  • Jasper ad: 2.9% CTR, $0.54 CPC

Anyword won on CTR and cost-per-click. The "ritual" and "ceremony" framing — which I wouldn't have used naturally — performed better than the more direct Jasper copy.


Round 2: Email Subject Lines

Brief: Subject lines for a newsletter announcing the same limited mug collection. Target: existing customer list, 120 subscribers.

The gap here was stark. Anyword's top-performing subject line achieved 47.3% open rate vs. Jasper's best at 31.8%.

The Anyword subject lines were riskier — shorter, more cryptic, less conventional. Without the performance score validating them, I probably wouldn't have used them. The predictive scoring gave me permission to try unconventional copy.


Round 3: Product Descriptions

Brief: 150-word product description for a decorative ceramic vase. Tone: artisanal, warm, avoid corporate language.

This round went to Jasper. Its product description output was warmer and more narrative — better prose quality overall. Anyword's product descriptions were serviceable but more conversion-focused than evocative.
